So, I drew this pic way back in the 6th grade [God, my photobucket account is OLD O.O] when I just liked doodling. I remember showing it to someone and they told me that it was all wrong. That it didn’t look realistic because his head was shaped weird and the proportions weren’t right and he looked funny because of that. She said that I should have made him realistic and then it would be good.
And though she might have been right, that if I made him realistic, then it would be cool, but at that point, I simply didn’t have the skills. And now I think about it, since when has art had to be realistic to look cool? I mean look at Picasso’s stuff. The man’s famous for distorting the shit out of anything.
